In this blog we&#8217;ll explore all the current options and show you how you can create an invoice template that fits your business needs.<\/p>\n<p>To get access to the templates settings, follow these steps:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>log in to ARI<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>open any existing JobCard, Invoice or Estimate<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>click the Invoice button to preview the template<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>tap the Options button on the upper right corner<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-852\" src=\"https:\/\/ari.app\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Template-settings-Icon.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"100\" height=\"73\" \/><\/h3>\n<h3>Template Settings<\/h3>\n<p>Here you can change a lot of settings regarding the way your invoices look and feel. Most of these settings will also apply to your online invoices. Here&#8217;s a breakdown of what you can do to customize your auto repair template look and feel.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-848 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/ari.app\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/template-settings.png\" alt=\"template settings\" width=\"610\" height=\"562\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ari.app\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/template-settings.png 610w, https:\/\/ari.app\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/template-settings-300x276.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 610px) 100vw, 610px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Show Logo &#8211; <\/strong>This will display the Logo of your company on the invoices&#8217; right-side corner. You can upload your logo in the Profile section of the app<\/li>\n<li><strong>Show My Address &#8211;<\/strong> This allows you to show or hide your business address on your invoices. Addresses can be edited from the Profile\/My Company section<\/li>\n<li><strong>Show Template Number<\/strong> &#8211; It will allow you to hide or show the Invoice or Estimate number. Although it&#8217;s not recommended to hide this info, it could still be useful when generating Estimates<\/li>\n<li><strong>Show Mileage<\/strong> &#8211; This will allow you to show or hide the vehicle&#8217;s mileage on the invoice. Please note that mileage can be edited from the Mileage In \/ Mileage Out fields on the previous page<\/li>\n<li><strong>Show License<\/strong> &#8211; It will allow you to hide the license plate of the vehicle on your invoice. Could be useful when invoicing heavy-duty machines that don&#8217;t have a license number<\/li>\n<li><strong>Show VIN\/Serial Number<\/strong> &#8211; This will let you hide or display the Vehicle Identification Number on your invoices.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Show Labor<\/strong> &#8211; Very useful in cases when you want to hide the details about the time and rate of your labor details.<\/li>\n<li>Show Note &#8211; Although it is marked as default, you can still hide the Notes on your invoices.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tax Invoice (Australian Format)<\/strong> &#8211; If you are located in Australia, then you are required by the law to display the words Tax Invoice on your template. Make sure you have this setting turned ON<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hide Item Numbers<\/strong> &#8211; This is extremely useful when you don&#8217;t want your inventory item IDs displayed on the invoice form.<\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">NEW<\/span>: Align item description to the left<\/strong> &#8211; By default, the item text is aligned in the center. You can move it to the left by selecting this option. Make sure you go out of the invoice and then come back for the changes to take effect!<\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">NEW<\/span>: Show QR code to view Invoice online<\/strong> &#8211; Although it&#8217;s off by default, we strongly recommend changing this setting to ON so you offer your clients an easy way to access the invoice online and then pay it from their phones!<\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">NEW<\/span><\/strong> <strong>Show units (pc, gal, hrs, etc.)<\/strong> &#8211; This will allow you to display the item units on your invoices!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>WARNING: Some of these settings may not be immediately visible after you click the Save button. Maybe you want to change the font style and choose something that better fits your business? For instance, you can edit the names of the table headers or the details of the Notes section.<\/p>\n<p>Maybe you want to rename some of the fields in your invoice or maybe you&#8217;d like to delete some lines?
