Today we will show you how to create, edit, and delete expense records for your auto repair business.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\">1. Creating an Expense<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">After login, head out to the Accounting module by pressing the icon on the home page\u00a0 <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-293\" src=\"https:\/\/ari.app\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/accounts.png\" alt=\"accounting for auto repair software app\" width=\"38\" height=\"38\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">You should be presented with this view. You should now see this form.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Fill up the form by selecting a type of expense, a vendor, and the amount owned. Edit Expenses<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Although not advisable, sometimes you may need to edit an expense in case you made an error or the payment values have been changed. If that&#8217;s the case, all you have to do is click on the Expense in question, make the edits, update the date (optional), and then Save<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-503\" src=\"https:\/\/ari.app\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/multiple-expenses-257x300.png\" alt=\"multiple expenses\" width=\"257\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ari.app\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/multiple-expenses-257x300.png 257w, https:\/\/ari.app\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/multiple-expenses.png 414w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 257px) 100vw, 257px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\">3. (<strong>NEW<\/strong>) Delete an Expense<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">This feature has been implemented recently. Deleting an expense is pretty straightforward. Open the estimate and then click the Trash icon. Search &amp; Filter Expenses<\/h2>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\">Filtering<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">To filter your expenses, select the From\u00a0 and To dates and then click the Refresh icon <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-505\" src=\"https:\/\/ari.app\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/refresh-icon.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"36\" height=\"32\" \/><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\">Searching<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Simply click the search icon on the top of the screen and then type in your search query. You can search by vendor name, expense id, invoice number, PO number, and expense type.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\">5. Download Expense Reports<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">If you need me info about your expense, you can download an expense report that contains all the data necessary for you to post-process it. This data might be needed by your accountant or simply for your own end-of-month reports.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">To download an expense report, head on to Reports from the Home screen and then click on Income and Expenses button.
